HAYHAY DOODS
Last night, after we left from Tarawih at nini's (who also decided to pay for our earring orders! That left me feeling like a bad granddaughter, but anyway), our dressmaker/tailor whatever you wish to called and said baju siap sudah and my mum's like 'bah, sekajap lagi ni'
And I'm just like 'are you serious, it's like 10'
all my mother said was 'Babu's driving'
I'm not sure if she meant it like 'don't talk to me, I'm driving' or 'I'm driving, so you ikut saja'
So we reached like 10 minutes later, surprisingly fast because duhh no traffic
And after a few fittings and alterations, Popo (Alice's mum) decided to keluarkan her keropok pisang and everyone decided that it was going to be a hang out sesh. In the shop. At that hour. -__-
Not that I'm complaining or anything because I thought it was fun and new.
My brother ended up sleeping on the couch and well, JJ was practically everywhere.
When Asians meet Asians, segala-gala cerita keluar.
Popo started to talk about her grandkids, and then about her maid and how the maid was pretty dumb (we all have something to contribute here)
Then my mum lost her receipt, so they had to dig the lodge books and my mum got the month wrong and in the end when they found it, utter chaos.
'eh Cina ani, bulan pun inda ingat'
'eh you Melayu, janji inda pandai lurus'
We're very multiracial like that
We must've stayed for 2 hours or something.
Ramadhan is definitely a month of new surprises.
see you around,
