Our friend Haris&Ardilla (yes, with an 'R')
more greens to Singapore than what I presumed
This is the bomb! It looks innocent and fun but that shit be the craziest. It's like a budget rollercoaster ride
A horse stable in the middle of the Pasir Ris park
My pants tore good (still upset)
The waterpark that didn't have water when we came (also where I fell down the hill)
A 30 minute train ride (getting used to calling it a train) with 1 stop in between (City Hall) and I was picked up in get this, a BMX bike.
I was relieved because when I was told I would be picked up on a bike, I was nervous because I have never been on a motorcycle before. Well, joke's on me.
I have to say, the whole cycling thing was crazy. As much as I love cycling back home, I think this trip might have been the answer to all my 'please let me cycle' nags to my mother.
It was long, hot and kick ass.
Highlights:
-I have sunburn (it's darker but it's a hell lot of red kinda dark)
-I scratched my watch (I can't begin to tell how very sad I am)
-I tore my new pants (this is sad part 2. Although my Adidas was on sale, that pants only went out once and now it's just... torn)
-I have 12 scratches in total. Yes, I counted. Spent almost $50 fixing the damages. Watsons got rich and here's to remembering my trip in another country buying rice as in baras.
It rained heavily on the way back and I was still cycling and my bag wasn't waterproof and my phone&iPod broke. Do the rice trick, it works like a charm. At least I don't have to go to AV to get it fixed or something.
But my phone camera still doesn't work so I'll get that fixed soon. Relying on the generosity of WhatsApp pictures.
Other than that, I saw Greendale Sec and I can tell you now that I sweat and bled more on that day than I have the whole year.
Oh yeah, first time changing in someone's house (also, a first hand experience at being in a HDB flat)
went back still soaking wet and freezing.
