WRHI2013: OCTOBER

It took me only two clicks to get to October on my calendar. October was so very recent yet so far away now.

  • Last day (like real last day) of school
  • Study leave
  • SIS
  • A2 and AS

I remember feeling very down during this month because the coming of October would officialize the end of school and Lower Six for me. All these time I keep telling myself the year will stay longer. Longer than last year and the years before. I told myself school isn't ending nor is my time in MS getting less and less everyday.  (A for almost deep)

Here's an excerpt from one of the October posts:

"...you can't shake the nostalgic feeling of the year. Your first day of school, the crazy people you eat lunch with, or maybe that time when you had an argument with your friend, the feeling of being under pressure because you have to get other things done other than school work, surprise birthdays, friends singing the birthday song (+joined by other people around), friends bringing a lot of food, breakups, getting together, Raya open houses, going 'eh inda blh mengumpat, bulan puasa jua ni', camwhoring, making your selfies as your friends' wallpaper. The year brought a lot but you have to keep going"

Ok, so basically, I had to come to terms with a lot of reality slaps.
I'm not sure what to write under here but that day we had a Literature potluck. The Literature students of Pre-U1 and Pre-U2 combined in the Lit room to eat and to celebrate Mr. Allan.
2013 is his final year and since we won't be having any classes anymore, it was sort of like it would be the last time we would be in a class with Mr. Allan.
It wasn't like he would not be teaching us anymore, well that part is true but it was also his final year in Brunei before he transfers to another place (we found out later it was going to be Dubai)
So Lit students and some PU2 non-Lit students also came because hey, who doesn't like food?

That day... sucked.
I just lost it at one point and I didn't feel like being in a room full of people.
After that I just went down and ate cake with Ziqah (for a few minutes we had a deep talk lol)
I mean, I loved having people around but that day was so terrible!
I just wanted to get away from everyone.
It was one of those situations where everything repels from you and you are... alone.
It didn't help that my crazy lit friend Izzul didn't attend the potluck as well!

our friends who moved came to school that day! (upside)
I also remembered Zur bringing her camera (idk why I'm putting this in but I just want to remember)
Some bits were fun while some sucked.

MOVING ON

I wasn't very excited about the whole study leave thing so I went to school.
I liked how it was empty and no one bothered me.
It was also this month that we established SIS (we finally settled on a name) and got closer.
We went to school and got GJC in the morning (10% off if you come early!)
It was really fun. much misses.

Of course there was the inevitable A2 and AS exams.
In October, I had my Pure Math and History paper.
15 long days apart.
It was torture.

Overall, October was alright. I didn't like the whole not going to school thing but that we can always fix.
Good people, good fun.

xom.
