Selamat Hari Raya

OLA CHICAS

It's the second day of Hari Raya today and as much as I THOUGHT I hated it, it turned out my spirits aren't dead after all.
Just leave me be for the school's celebration (because that one is all kinds of fart)

Anyway, although I haven't done a lot of studying in the past week and this current one (which I gladly admit I'm not proud of), I have been pushing myself to do more things.

I finished reading 3 books.
Hiroshima, Dear Zari and The Emperor's Children.
I did speed reading, something that I just found out was possible.
Well I only did it because I thought I could never do it.
And currently I'm reading Stephen King's 11.22.63!
YAY

Haven't seen any movies lately (including DVDs)
This is the first time I switched on my laptop ever since holidays started.
Very proud of that one.

I read the dictionary cover to cover which is funny because The Emperor's Children is definitely the book for vocabulary enthusiasts with a dictionary in hand.
Which isn't me obviously.
But the book is okay.

Geez, I feel like such a novelist. When you're reading this, bear in mind that the power of my night lamp bulb is freakishly low because it had to break before raya and I'm left with something a lot dimmer. Not that I'm complaining though. Yeah so basically, I'm in a dark room and the only source of lighting is the dim light and the laptop screen. And on my right is the the 700+ pages of 11.22.63.
You see how I feel like a novelist? "Working" so late and all. Oh, it's 1 AM now.

SO, first day of Hari Raya went well.
As usual, went to Nini's place and then Abang's after and then we went home.
kekekeke
It then continued at night and well, just the night.

Second day was GURREAT! Went to some houses with the gangers and we left early because my dearest JJ the screamer (something she found out was possible over the days) was well, screaming.
Anyway, it was great.

Personally, I think that Hari Raya is not just about 'maaf zahir dan batin' because if everybody wanted to, everybody can forgive everyday. Not just during Hari Raya.
I think that it's about feeling victorious because we got to conquer our hunger, lust, and all that seven sins in over a month!
THAT is what Hari Raya is about.
At least it is for me.

Alright, so, I'll see you anon.

Lastly, Selamat Menyambut Hari Kemenangan di bulan Syawal!
from us, The Ottomans :)

 First Day!

 Second Day at someone's house!

&Second Day again!
xom.
