HEY Y'ALL
Last Saturday (September, 7th) was the annual MSPSBS Hari Raya celebration and I couldn't help myself but to feel crazy excited.
Overall, I'm glad that everything (yes, including the breast part) went really really well!
Except for the end though, because that shit boils my blood I can't even.
SO, after a few months of planning and a few weeks of trying to successfully tell our working committee to get it moving and 2 days to actually execute it (hello examinations) and after 10 hours of pacing and walking and running and hanging around, we finally did it.
2 years ago, I would never in my crazy mind think that we would be able to pull it off after seeing how the MPs worry about everything and well, we actually did it.
2 years later, with our own troop of MPs and PRSs.
wow.
Congratulations everyone.
I have to say though, despite all the crazy shit that went around, we did a great job.
I mean, in general, I was happy with the output.
Red carpet? check
hanging stars? check
colours? check
lip sync video? check
time lapse? check
photo booth? check
2 days man, 2 days and we managed all that.
I have an amazing team.
Now that is for sure.
Anyway, to top it all up, we're all just really glad we could at least make it memorable for the PU2s who celebrated their final Raya last Saturday
Just a teeny weeny bit memorable is good enough
Trust me, we would have explosives and fireworks in the auditorium if we could, but we can't.
bummer
Personally, I enjoyed the celebration.
More fun with less food. (the PU1s literally did not bring any food aside from a few drinks and all that, so mesti pandai skilllzz)
Took a few pictures and now I have them stuck on the closet door (-ish, what do you call those things anyway)
After reading a few blogs or wordpresses (if you must insist), I actually felt kind of sad knowing that for some, it was their final celebration, which will be us in like, next year.
So dear Year 10s who shall soon be MPs and will be organising next year's celebration, make it good. HAHAHA
Blow up the place if you have to!
On a side note, big big big congratulations to our working committee who worked their butts off for it (we appreciate the sacrifice) and to SANS, for being the greatest team to work with, for being the best backbone ever.
Exams aside, here's to the BREAST RAYA CELEBRATION EVER
(go on now, pop the carbonated drink's cap)
